We will miss you & love you forever, little buddy!
I am sad to have to tell everyone that my big brother Oscar, passed away earlier today. Mom said that he has gone to a place called the Rainbow Bridge. I don't know much about that place but mom told me he's probably chasing a butterfly in an open field right now. I guess that means that even though we're sad, that Oscar is finally feeling better and doing what he loves.
TGIFF!Yeah, it’s Friday, my most favorite day of the week.Of course, that’s because on most Fridays, I am lucky enough to have a few of my twitter pals share a little of their story with all of us.This week, I am thrilled to tell you is no exception.
How did you find your forever home? (Or how did it find you?)
One morning, I woke up on the front porch of some lady's house. I was curled up with my brazen sister Belinda, and so began my love of cuddling. We were about 6-weeks old at the time. Our Mama, who didn't have a home, would visit us and feed us then run off to be with my daddy and several uncles. Mama was a hussy but we loved her. She and Belinda found a home with a nice neighbor. I decided to keep the lady whose porch I lived on and moved into the house with her. Who knew she'd still be around 18-years later?
What do you call the humans you live with?
I call my humans The Lady and That Guy.
What do you like to do, even though it drives your human(s) crazy?
I like to drink bourbon and smoke cigars but what drives my humans the most crazy is when I "twang" the springy, doorstop thing on the back of the bedroom door while everyone is sleeping.
Is there anything else you would like your twitter pals to know?
I think my twitter pals know more about me than they should know already.

How did you find your forever home? (Or how did it find you?)
My human mama and her daughter, Caitlin, had just moved to a new city . They wanted to get a kitten to make their home complete. Caitlin looked online at the SPCA and found a list of kutiekittens. She saw my picture and fell in love with my cute orange face (I was named Poppy then until I found a home…an I am NOT a Poppy!!). I was being fostered in a home with my mamacat and four other kittens. My mama was dropped off at the shelter just before she had babies. My other brothers an sisters did not survive. Some other kittens from three other litters were missing a mama, so my mamacat nursed them too (I was a good milk sharer). When my human mama and Caitlin came to check me out, my BoUnCiNg and BoUnDiNg around them made them fall in love with me. They couldn’t leave my mamacat so she found a new home as well! She is in picture with me.
What do you call the humans you live with?
I call them human mama and Caitlin…it gets confusing having two mamas!
What do you like to do, even though it drives your human(s) crazy?
Mostly…I am perfect. But I do like to annoy them by vomiting in more than one area at one time. I also like to take my time when asked to come for a snuggle. It’s not that I don’t WANT one…I just likes it on MY terms.

Third we have Javathecat, who is kind of new to twitter, but is proving to be powerful force on the twitter front.
Hi. I am Javathecat. I am a 13 year old Ocicat who lives in Irvine California. Hope I did not write too much, I get that trait from my daddy.
How did you find your forever home? (Or how did it find you?)
I was from a breeder of Ocicats. My folks were told about me and my litter-mates. And when they came to see me, I was such a little lady (with my paws crossed) that they were smitten for life. They had not heard about Ocicats before, so that night they did lots of research on the internet and at a bookstore. By the time they came back the next day, I had them wrapped around my little spotted paw!
What do you call the humans you live with?
Mom & Dad! And I have grandparents too. They live near by. I get to visit them when mom & dad go away for a few days. I love it. My grandfolks really spoil me (even more than my folks!)
What do you like to do, even though it drives your human(s) crazy?
My most favorite activity is to stalk the neighborhood critters. We live in a place that backs up to county land. So it is like a wilderness (I call it my jungle). We have tons of quail (California you know), in fact they had a coddle (thats what they call a litter) right in our backyard patio (16 babies)! There is tons of bunnies- Figgie, Whitefoot (he is the grand daddy) Amber, Blacktip, Little Bunny, Babie Bunny, iMac & iPod. They eat the flowers in our garden (but thats OK- the flowers are hibiscus, roses & jasmine- and we have tons of them). Then there is Chirp. He has been around for years. He is a Wrentit- a large bird who is the major of our yard- he controls everyone.(He has his own swimming pool- it is a large dog dish daddy fills with water) We also have tons of hummingbirds & finches, lizards!, a woodpecker, and owl (or 2?) and Mr. Squirrel (he makes me so mad!). Because of the chaparrel brush there are bobcats, raccoons, hawks & rattlesnakes. And our neighbor saw a Cougar. Well I guess by now you figured out- I am an indoor cat. So it is just lots of stalking & kittie TV. I drive my folks crazy cause for a 12 lb. cat I can make a ton of noise and I howl at the critters. They always think something is wrong and they run to attend to me. But it is just me showing who's boss!
Is there anything else you would like your twitter pals to know?
I love to talk with the other kitties, pups & critters. Everyone is so nice!

How did you find your forever home? (Or how did it find you?)
My name is Daisy Jane Cody. I am named after the song Daisy Jane. I was abandoned, in a cage, at the First Baptist Church in Grayson, GA. Mama's niece was dating a guy and his step mother worked there. The lady took me in and Mama's niece fell in love with me. I would fall alseep and sleep in her arms. She could not keep me at home because her sister was allegic to me. So Mama said she would foster me until Pam could take me. Pam didn't think I was as cute when I wasn't sleeping in her arms and became afraid of me! Pam gave her to Papa but I had spent so much time with Mama that I adopted her. Mama loves me even when I am upset. I mean I love Papa but Mama is special.
What do you call the humans you live with?
I call Mama - Mama and I also live with Papa and Mema.
What do you like to do, even though it drives your human(s) crazy?
I can't seem to find the litter box sometimes. I get angry easily and see things in Black ad White. Never Grey. I cry when someone leave the room and doesn't tell me where they are. I try to run out of the house at times but just want to smell the flowers by the front door. I picked up some bad habits from Daisy and Minnie - two cats that I hung around when I was little and that is where I found hissing got you places. Since there where two Daisys my gang name was Little D and thn there was Big D and MinMin.
Is there anything else you would like your twitter pals to know?
Mama got me a little $1 kitty that looks like me and I love to carry her around the house. Her name is Junior. I love to smell flowers and love stuffed animals in general. I love to look out windows and watch the birds. If I get too upset Mama carries me outside and I calm down. I don't want to be out. I don't know but I always calm down. I live with ForrestTheCat. I told Mama about him when he was little. Mama drives me and Forrest places and if she drives by the First Baptist Church I growl and hiss. I get very upset. Mama thought it was a fluke but I remember and however many times she tries to trick me in where I am I growl and hiss at only that church. I LOVE mosit food and come running when I hear the dish clnk. I love the smell of Starbucks coffee but hate the taste. Mama told me I would but I didn't believe her. Mama works there and she comes home with coffee smell. It reminds me of when I first was with her. I snuggle in her coffee clothes!

Since we were lucky enough to have Daisy story on here today, it is only natural that we also include her good buddy and roommate ForrestTheCat
My name is Forrest Grayson Cody. I was born in Grayson, GA about 30 miles from Atlanta. My Mom is a Siamese and my Dad was a big black Cat. I am a Black Siamese and if you get me in certain light you can see my markings. I had 2 siblings. Mom and us kitties lived under the shed out back. We would come out at night and play on the back deck or the front porch. @DaisyDarlin first saw us and let her Mama know - who became my new Mama. New Mama starte putting food and water outside for us. I would ome up to the window and look in and meow. I would run off if new Mama came out to talk to us. Mom was very strict about us talking to strangers. I got my name one day when us kitties were on the back deck sleeping under the grill. Mama came out and my siblings ran down the steps. I froze and the only thing I could do was jump off the deck, fly mid air with my arms and legs stretched out. I hit the ground running and mam screams out "Run Forrest Run!" My 2 siblings left home early on but Mom an I woudl hang out with Dad in the back yard. I started getting food off the back dek and sometimes we got TUNA! I walked into a trap and talked Mom into a cage with tuna in it. the cage slammed shut and we were there. Mama wante to give us both better lives. Mom didn't believe it and bolted while we were in Atlanta. I again sat like a deer in headlights. I was so wild that Mama put me in a safe cage while she worked and everyday would take me out left me be and also held me and petted me. I wasn't into it at first. One day I found how to purr and things changed. Mama was going to give me to a friend to keep and the first night I was there he didn't watch me and thought I left. I was in the wall up by the dish washer. Someone heard me and told Mama that I was there. She came over - I was terrified- and talked me out. She held me and tokd me she was never going to let me go again.
What do you call the humans you live with?
I call her Mama or sometimes I say Ma. I also live with my Mema and Papa. They need me cause they are old and love to be loved and kissed.
What do you like to do, even though it drives your human(s) crazy?
I love to get up early in the morning and look at birds out the windows. I am talking 530AM. I chat about the birds. I don't understand why noone else likes to get up so early. I love to wake up Mama in the middle of the night to snuggle and also when I am scared. I also get real jealous if Mama pays attention to @DaisyDarlin. Ya see Daisy isn't so affectionate and if she wants to snuggle or Mama talks to her I get beside myself and take it out on Daisy by chasing her around the house until she hisses.
Is there anything else you would like your twitter pals to know?
Feral Free since Dec 28 2006. I love Greenies Tuna. I don't care too much for moist food. I love to lay on my back and sit in front of the air vent on the floor of the house. When I hear Mama's voice especially when she comes home from work I come running even if I have been asleep. I love to give nose to nose kisses and if Mama ask me if she can give me a kiss I turn my head down so she can kiss the top of my head. I love the color red and my favorite toy is Rudy Redmouse. Oh and one more thing - Ever since Mama came and rescued me from inside her friends wall I have NEVER hissed - even at Daisy when she hisses at me!

Wow, not only are these great kitties, they offered up some great recommendations of their own.I’m going to have to go check out some of their friends, cause I see names of a couple cats I haven’t met yet.
Also don’t forget to stop by and check out our nice long list of cats.We are sitting at just over 900 currently, but we still have several to add.If you’re a kitty, but not yet listed, just follow catswhotwit.I haven’t added to the list for a couple weeks, but Henry is going to learn how to set it up sometime over the weekend.
Do you ever wonder what happened to your first love? I have always wondered about my best girl. A fine feline lass named Bonds. Technically, she was my cousin, only by adoption though, so there was nothing sinister about our love
Anywho, Mom went over to see my human Aunt tonight and learned that BONDS IS STILL ALIVE!! Like me, she has seen better days, but I was just thrilled to learn my best girl has had a long and happy life, just like me (She's 20.)
I made mom help me find a couple of our pictures so you too can see, the first lady to ever steal my heart...
Well, lets face it, I luvs the ladies. Every Queen we’ve been lucky enough to feature here on CWT has held a special place in my furry heart, but this week, this week I’m thrilled to introduce to you a SWEET, GORGEOUS, an down-right ADORABLE lady, who I’ve been admiring from a far for months. Dear friends, if you don’t already know her, you are missing out! This weeks Queen Of The Week... Monkey Cat (aka Princess Monkey of the Mystical Tortietude, Monkey Butt, Monkers & MC)
Age
I is a little over 1 years old
What does being a Queen feline mean to you?
Dis such a big honor for me to be featured as Queen of the Week! I is not entirely sure what being queen means as until now I has only been Princess! But nows dat you mention it, I guess I am next in line for queen of the house. At the moment, my grandma cat (Mouse), is technically the queen...but since sis is next in line for court jester, I is the queen in training . I do looks forward to fully embracing dis title though. I means someone has to tell the humans what to do and I is already well versed in dat area. Queen Mouse has given me lots of skills, but with her health not so good I feels like there's so much I do not knows yet. It will comes in time.. I also thinks dat my time so far spent in Duke's Richard's Royal pack as Princess Monkey of the Mystical Tortietude has been good training as well. It helps to learns how to be royal and elegant from other cats and dogs who are far more skilled at dat then myself. I feels like I still has lots to learn, but I has the best teachers I could wants on twitter. I has so much funs with all my anipals and can't imagine my life without them(especially you Oscar nudge nudge!) For now though, I is just trying to be myself, has good times and stay out of troublez. Ok so maybe I no do so good at dat last part, but I tries. OMC moth moth moth!!! Gotta get da moth!! Nom Nom Nom mmmmm kinda crunchy! Oh sorrys, dat was not very Queen like of me! See, I still has much to learn! MOL
How does it affect your roll with your subjects?
Oh yes the humans. They seem amused by all the attention I get! I don't think they realized all the antics I would get into on the interwebs! I no know what they expected...wif dis face and my natural ability to finds troublez, of course the interwebs would be bad place for me(in a good way of course)! They good sports about it though and they support me, so dats good.
And likes I said, they knows dat I is the heir to the throne so they treats me as such(unless they is yelling "MONKEY NO!"). I might gets yelled at a lot, but I still has them in the palm of my paw. I knows how to work dem wif a cute look, a purfectly timed flop or a cute little meow! They never know what hits them when I turns on the cute! It may have been their idea to puts me on twitter, but since then I tells them what to do. When I first wanted blog they said no, there's no time...so I says, not acceptable, you makes time! When I says, Meow I wants some treats and they says no, we no give you treats....I scratch the furniture or pull a cute move and I gets my treats. Occasionally I give in to their requests, but not very often. I no think I runs da house yet, but I is definitely getting close. My humans aren't all dat bad though...they loves me and I owes them my life for adopting sis & I. I no knows what I would have done without sis? So I guess I is one lucky kitty and can't complain too much =^..^=
Anyways, I just wants to say thank you for having me, even if I is not really a Queen yets! I is honored to be on the blog dat inspired me to start my own blog. Dis such a nice way to meet & learn about other twitter anipals and I is grateful for having dis site! Cheers to Oscar & Henry!
PS-One last thing....keep tuning into Monkey TV, there might be some cool surprises coming up soon including the official launch of my MC line! Yes I talked the humans into plastering my face on merchandise...mostly for charity! Thx
=^..^=
OMC!!!! What a woman, what a Queen! Kitties, you should really know Monkey, so if you haven't already, FOLLOW her! Also, you should check out Monkey TV. It's one of this kitties favorite sites. She always has stuff going on, and she finds all the cool software to make some pretty pawesome photos!
Thank you, dear Monkey, for being Queen!
And a big furry thank you to the rest of you too, for stopping by!
Can you believe it? It’s finally time to announce this weeks Man-Cat of The Week.
Being a Man-Cat is a very important job and should never be attempted by a kitten. Even though, our choice is a little young, I do think you will agree he is totally right for the task!My friends I am thrilled to introduce to you, my good buddy, Totally Lamont.
Age
I am approximately fifteen months old.
What does being a man-cat mean to you?
I grew up on the cold, hard streets of Houston where a half second can mean the difference between seeing another sunrise or riding the midnight express to the rainbow bridge.
=^..^=
A Man Cat has nerves of steel and generations of refined instinct. I just put my faith in Ceiling Cat and follow every gut instinct that I have. If my instincts are true, then I will succeed as a Man-Cat.
How does it affect your roll in the family?
Very hard to explain. I do exactly what I feel like doing. Sometimes I attack my family because they are moving. Other times I lick my family because they are moving. My Dad encourages me to do whatever I want and then he gives me lots of treats. I guess I am doing something right.
=^..^=
If your not already one of Lamonts friends, I recommend you head over to his twitter page right away and hit that follow button.Ladies, I feel I should warn you though, that you might just spend hours there the first time you visit. He has lots of photos posted, and I don’t think even the man-cats would dare disagree when I tell you he’s handsome.
Thank you so much Lamont for agreeing to be this weeks choice, I am truly honored to have you on this site.
Yep, I’m sure, now more than ever that we made the right choice.Totally!
Howdy, ya'll! This weeks Man-Cat is a very busy dude, & my human was bad to notify him late, but fear not, I will soon be able to share with you another great DUDE! Tomorrow will be wonderful too! You will not believe the wonderful kitty who has graciously agreed to be Queen. I'll give you a hint though... I've had a kitty crush on her for months!
Anywho, in the meantime I wanted to share this cute photo I found with you!
Hello everyone! My name is Henry and I am OscarTheCats younger brother. If you don’t know me from twitter, you can find me under the name @Quadpawd. Oscar isn’t feeling well, so I am going to be doing the posts here on CWT for a while. Due to this being a very busy week for everyone, we only have 3 kitties for you today, but what we don’t have in numbers, they make up for in PAWESOMENESS. Just meowin’
=^..^=
My first guest is Circus Kitty (aka AnnaBelle) who is a real sweet lady. In fact, she even offered to let me join the circus too. Of course, I couldn't turn an offer like that down. MOL...
How did you find your forever home? (Or how did it find you?)
The nice people at Cat Adoption Team in Sherwood, Oregon were taking care of me when my two-legged parents came in looking for a new kitty to love. They lost their 19 year old kitty a month before and were very sad. They liked me from the beginning because I was very friendly and enjoyed being carried around. Being a somewhat short-haired kitteh was a plus too.
What do you call the humans you live with?
Mommeh and daddeh. I sure likes them!
What do you like to do, even though it drives your human(s) crazy?
When I am loving them up, I likes to lick them! They just don't understand they need to be cleaned too. :)
Is there anything else you would like your twitter pals to know?
There are always more kittehs looking for a forever home. Follow @CatAdopt. They are the best. MEOW! Thanks for helping us all to connect Oscar & Henry. =^..^=

How did you find your forever home? (Or how did it find you?)
Originally my momsie wanted to adopt a ginger cat from the local humane society, but no, grandma demanded it be a kitten. Since October not babies season, my human searched highs and lows for a little orangey kitteh. When she came across my personal ad, well my two calico fursis too, it happened to be wuv at first sight. Her parents agreed with the wonderfur choice and they drove an hours to get me. My first pressie to momsie is wet poop in meh new carrier box. From that smelly moment on, they spoil me rotten. Oh yeahs!
What do you call the humans you live with?
Momsie, grandma, and grandpa [sometimes I call him Mr. Bathman when he cleans me].
What do you like to do, even though it drives your human(s) crazy?
I afraid of going outsides, and cling on momsie’s back for dear life when she takes me for small walks. Instead the humans learned to open the front door [there is another glass one] for me to spies. Every morning I meow until one of them let me out for a while. Then I come back in and do the same thing all over again, throughout the days too! I also messy eater and leave meh crumbs all over the libbing room. They all step in it and take a piece of Toby everywhere.
Is there anything else you would like your twitter pals to know?
I play tags with my humans to keep them fit and active. They usually slows so I give them meh best stalker kitteh stare and then paw their legs. It makes momsie and grandparents laugh and give cuddles.

Next we have mickeychat who happens to be one of the nicest kitties in Paris.
How did you find your forever home? (Or how did it find you?)
My Mom found me 10 years ago at L’Ecole du Chat de Paris (in Montmartre). This is a volunteer organization working to reduce the free-roaming cat population. They use Trap-Neuter-Return non lethal methods.
At the time they had like a shop in Montmartre for kittehz that had once been house kittehz. Passing by the window of L’Ecole du Chat Mom had noticed among dozens of cats a tall tabby+ white beautiful cat in a cardboard box on a table. He looked very friendly and she thought she would adopt a cat after the summer holidays. (Black Gros Minet, the last of her two previous cats, had died a couple of months before).
Two months later she was delighted to see that this great cat was still there.
This cat was me the one and only Mickey. We think I was 3 years young then. She took me home and I meowed very loud as we rode the metro! A nice lady said I looked very intelligent. I hate to travel. I hate the box ! I still meow loud in the metro so everyone knows how unhappy I am.
Oscar was also adopted on that same day but that’s his story.
What do you call the humans you live with?
Maman is my ooman at home. Mémie is my grand mother at my second home where I go on holidays (she is 97 and she is my mom grandma. She is the best slave. Eh eh !).
What do you like to do, even though it drives your human(s) crazy?
I insist on a very clean litter box but I pee outside the litter box. I am not sure I like it but sometimes I start peeing sitting and I end up standing… I swear I do not do it on purpose. Mom says this must be why I got kicked out of my two previous homes. She says she is very patient. I say she just loves me. I scratch the good rugs but just a little.
Is there anything else you would like your twitter pals to know?
I iz so happy to have met so many anipals from all around the world. I am grateful that we met @EmmytheCat : she sent my bro Oscar (@Oscar_Lechat) a pet bed as a pawpawty prize. Now I have no remorse what so ever when I kick him out of my comfy bed. Twitter is also a great way to have fun, share and help other anipals.

We decided to make this list of cats to make it a little easier for all of us to find each other. Right now our list is over 800 strong and growing every day.
